Skin Savers

Reimagining skin treatment as something you don’t have to hide.

Welly expanded beyond first aid into therapeutic skincare, bringing warmth, confidence, and approachability to a category often defined by clinical design. The result was a new visual system that made everyday skin health feel more human.

Welly expanded into skin treatments to address a gap in the therapeutic aisle, a category full of products people need but rarely feel good about using. While beauty has evolved to be expressive and emotionally engaging, therapeutic skincare has remained clinical, static, and often disconnected from how people actually feel about their skin.

The opportunity was to bring Welly’s point of view into this space by designing for confidence instead of correction. Rather than hiding common skin concerns like eczema, body acne, or dryness, the brand embraced them with clarity, color, and a more human approach. The system needed to balance efficacy and trust with warmth, optimism, and everyday usability.

I led the creative direction across identity extension, packaging, and launch campaign for Skin Savers, a line of six derm-tested lotions and treatments designed for daily skin health. The visual system introduced benefit-led color coding, iconography, and clear communication to simplify navigation, while expressive typography, gradients, and layered compositions brought softness and approachability. Photography and video focused on real, human moments, paired with abstract scientific renders that visualized how each product works, bridging emotional storytelling with product efficacy.

The result was a new category expression for Welly, one that reframed therapeutic skincare as something approachable, expressive, and integrated into daily life. Skin Savers extended the brand beyond first aid into ongoing care, reinforcing the idea that healing is not just reactive, it is something you live with every day.
